Baya Weaver

With the chick in the nest, for sure cannot see! but can see what its parents feed it.

seems like a baby praying mantis.

another grub, look like a caterpillar.

with food in its beak, the parent will perch on a near branch..

then a quick stop at the nest, the chick will make noise..

then drop and up into the opening at the bottom..

after feeding, the parents will fly back out..

below,it seems the parent having trouble with its overzealous chick

tugging until chick almost gotten out.

Reed Warblers Birds

I first saw the Oriental Reed Warbler in Dec 2008. They stay at the same area as the local Yellow Bellied Prinia. Hard to spot them as they are always in the reeds as the name suggest. Is is in april that i notice they always return to one area in the late afternoon around 6.30pm. So I stake out that area for the warbler

and got this

Oriental Reed Warbler

and

Oriental Reed Warbler

Cekup Paya Besar
Oriental Reed-Warbler
Acrocephalus orientalis

This is as clear a photo of this bird, hope to get better next migrant season.

another one is this species, which i spotted only once

Zoo Bird Species Behind

One Sunday, I received a call Physician and Madibirder to memburung in Kemensah. Dah no longer hear the forest area behind the zoo this country, but never arrived. To the extent that the front door of the state zoo, Physician, and Madi Madi son (Elias) were having breakfast. Finished eating, we went into the forest area by train Kemensah Madi.

To the point, enter the taxable je trail climbs the hill. Wow! mengah-mengah son climbed to the top .. perhaps because a month off running.

Up in a pond, while diorang looking pekaka. I caught this bird image ..

Bird Merbah grove (Olive-winged Bulbul) are chirping as he noticed by her partner.

Kemensah-091011-007
Rose again to the top of the hill, I found with my first lifer that day ..

Bird Kite Small tuft (Whiskered Treeswift), interested me in a way he folds his wings after the perch, a kind of robot.

arrived at a valley, many more see the various species of birds.

Migrant birds have also returned.
Kemensah-091011-022
This bird Sambar Asia (Asian-Brown Flycatcher).

This bird also Kelicap Red Cheeks female. (Ruby-cheeked Sunbird)

Kemensah-091011-038
Rather than a set of 5 birds Cenuk this crust, I can only take a picture of a crust Cenuk Females (Raffle's Malkoha; female)

A female bird again?, Belatuk Red. (Banded Yellownape; female). probably yes, since there is no visible red mark on the side of the head.

After exit from the region, Madi took us riding on the roads around Kemensah. In one more place on the edge of the road ..

Lifer a second!

Birds Eye White Wilderness (Everett's White-eye)

I'm wishing all my chinese birding friends a happy Chinese New Year!

Broadbill Black and Red And Robin Oriental Magpie

Now is the season for the birds multiply local. We can see the birds busy looking for a partner, climb into the sky and build nests.

As Murai Kampung brings full leaf in its beak ..

While he was carrying the materials built into the nest, he looked around timidly anyone sees the position of the nest, after he had a new sense of congratulations to the nest ..

Birds also seem Takau Raft was carrying a twig in its beak ..

Takau Raft
Black-and-red Broadbill
(Cymbirhynchus macrochynchus)

he waited a long twig in its beak ... after he flew my new supply. Apparently the nest is actually above where I stood before .. apparently he was waiting for my supply of it;) ..
